Together with the first group of Open Gas Partners, EigenCloud, Ether.fi, Pendle and f(x) Protocol, a new system has been deployed to clear the smog: gas rebates for users across the Ethereum ecosystem.

Chapter 1: The First Fleet
Captain Jack has assembled the First Fleet to confront the Gas Giants.
These partner protocols have deployed their gas scrubbers across the network, allowing explorers like you to reclaim part of the gas you spend when interacting on-chain.
Every rebate claimed helps clear the atmosphere for Ethereum users everywhere.

What is Open Gas?
Gas fees are one of the biggest friction points in the on-chain experience.
They fluctuate constantly, spike during peak activity, and introduce uncertainty every time a user interacts with a protocol.
Open Gas changes that.
Open Gas is ETHGas’s initiative to eliminate gas fees and drive onchain adoption, allowing protocols to sponsor gas costs for their users.
Instead of gas being a permanent expense, it becomes something users can reclaim later—like cashback for Ethereum transactions.
Through the Open Gas Claim dashboard:
- Protocols sponsor gas rebates
- ETHGas aggregates those rebates
- Users claim them in one place
No complex integrations. No manual tracking.
Just a simple way to get rewarded for using Ethereum.
Claim Your Gas Rebates in 4 Steps
Note on Rebate Eligibility: The rebates available in this first Open Gas release are calculated from eligible transactions made in February 2026 with participating protocols.
- Connect Your Wallet: Visit the Open Gas Claim Dashboard and connect the wallet you used to interact with partner protocols. Open Gas will automatically detect if your wallet is eligible for gas rebates.
- Check Your Available Rebates: View the total gas rebates available across participating protocols. Your dashboard aggregates rebates from multiple protocols into one claimable balance.
- Claim with One Gasless Signature: Click “Claim now” to initiate a gasless signature and collect all eligible rebates in one step. The rebates will be transferred to your Open Gas Balance.
- Withdraw Your Rewards: You can withdraw them to your wallet anytime and receive wETH. Note: withdrawing requires a standard Ethereum transaction.
